Any one on Manta Rota aire and how busy is it.
Or is it changing each day.

Stopped in the car park adjacent to the aire yesterday & the aire looked full & a couple of vans went in & came back out straight away. There are quite a few motorhomes in the car park but don't know if they're unable to get in the aire or are just freeloaders who won't pay for the aire.

Thanks Laurie, Manta Rota is full. We'll stay on car park adjacent tonight and head down to Fonta Santa tomorrow.

i am in manta rota at the moment. its full but a couple of spaces open up most days. a few vans outside in the car park but the GNR seem to move them quite regularly .

Car park very full yesterday but understand that the GNR are moving them on regularly. Went to a few other wild camping spots along toward Monte Gordo and lots in those as well. Have to say there does appear to be more vans than normal along the Algarve!

Yep its the bloody French as they can't get fully comp for Morocco....

Hmmmm. We've just come back from Morocco where the French were as evident as ever and were planning on heading westwards (currently near Cadiz in a thunderstorm!). Looks like we might be struggling.

Yep, many of the aires in the Vicarious book are full. However we've found space on Mikkis Place near Pera and despite a few negative comments elsewhere we think it's great; shame we need to move on. Plenty of room although the local council are trying to shut half of it down due to "planning problems" at the end of the month.
