Have had a leaking gutter for ages, just one joint at the corner of the house , that is a join between a pipe that comes down the side of the house, high up so it doesnt make the drive narrow, and the one at the back, it runs out of the joint on to my drive, right where i winter park the MH... today i had to stick the MH away , and decided to have a closer look, so jumped on the roof, and lo and behold , i can reach it from the roof... 15 mins with the sealer and its sorted , and its away for the winter.

Just need to sort a winter heater and its sorted.

QUICK TIP.(y) Dont take your Emu onto the roof. :(:(

LOL'ed at that. It will soon be the season of people getting killed putting up Xmas lights ... Risk vs Reward there is off the scale.

How else do you wash it properly?:) Never have any problems standing or walking on ours.
I do wash it properly by using the MH's own ladder at the back or a ladder at the sides, together with a ladder leveller. However, I would NEVER stand upright on the roof. Just looking downwards from the top of the ladder makes my knees wobble!

It can be fun shovelling 2 foot of snow off them in the alps
a bit like an elevated ice rink
All adds to the excitement

Fred Dibnah used to say that the question he was asked most about his job climbing high chimbleys and buildings was " have you ever fallen off............."

Since 2008 & many years tugging
I fell off our Auto Sleeper roof 4 months ago and lucky just scraped my shin and badly bruised my foot.

John.
Can't blame the roof for that.
Last van I knocked the ladder away and was stuck on the roof for an hour, always make sure I have phone with me now.

I either wear rubber garden clogs on the roof if its cold, or walk around barefoot if its warm..
It can be VERY slippery when using a soapy cleaner. I don't worry about falling off,, but I DO worry about stepping onto a roof light and ending up inside !!!

Hi PhilG With my weight I don't think my MH would appreciate me prancing about on the roof.

There is a point where prancing is out of the question, and it turns into more of a lollop..
