My wife found this little fellow nesting in our bushes....
I'm useless at bird identifying unless its a Crow or a Robin.
I think it is very common but I don't know the name...

I'm sure someone can help...... Thanks:thumb:

Im not very good a spotting "birds" either but could it be a song thrush.

Have a look at google images make sure you type in the whole work songthrush with no spaces xxx or you may get more than you wanted

If the first one is a baby bird it looks like a robin, they don't have a red breast till later. Was there an adult robin about ?

If it is sitting on the nest which I'm not sure if it is then it probably is a thrush

The first one is the mum, this was last week when she was sat on the eggs, now she is out and about bringing back worms...

That was my very "uneducated" guess... But I got no experience of "thrush".....honest..!

Thanks to all for the very rapid responses.....:thumb::thumb:

The nest is the give away really Thrushes do not line their nests like most other birds do with ether down or mud ect, they just use grasses that they build with.
