who has the highest mileage on their speedo? (1 Viewer)

I was thinking of possibly changing our 2005 Autocruise as we have clocked up 101,000 miles, then have been advised it is just about run in and now read about this van.
A 1998 Iveco Daily conversion with...........wait for it............1,150,000 miles on the clock. Yes, one million miles with original engine, 2 clutches and 2 diffs. I shall be keeping mine a while longer. Can anyone come even close to this figure. I'm well impressed.

Just under 400 miles on mine, almost entirely clocked up with the 350 mile round trip to @eddievanbitz last week to get my Growler fitted. Do I qualify for a booby prize?

Mines very recently aquired. Laika Ecovip (2002) on an......... Iveco Turbo Daily. Has got around 168,500Kms on it, so circa 100k miles. So just run in then.

Whilst looking for a "new" van, looked at an05 rapido with 223,000 km on , about 135,000 miles. It was immaculate apart from driver & passenger seats quite badly worn....

I can go the other way with the wife's car - she has now had her Fiat 500, from new, for 3 years and it has still not passed 3000 miles.
That includes a round trip from West Cumbria to Oxford (around 520 miles)

Lowest mileage I ever saw was a secondhand ex Motability car with 30 miles on it and they were all going for its service and back two times and collection for sale. The punter NEVER used it and only had because it was HIS RIGHT to have it, so he did. What waste of tax money that was and a bargain for the buyer. It might as well have sat in a showroom unsold.

I've sold two with 90k on the clock, first in 2009, second in 2014.
They're still on the road, I'm guessing both are well past 100k by now...

Our current van has just over 20k on it.
Previous owner did 5k in nine years, still had it serviced annually.
Seemed too good to be true but it's all genuine, think we got incredibly lucky

But he paid for it with his mobility allowance, why would he give £230 a month for it to sit there when he could use the money for something else...?

I had a 1997 vw transporter self build camper that I bought direct from a Blackpool taxi firm.... It had just over 700,000 miles on the clock when I bought it..... I put another 32,000 on it before selling it and I believe it's still going strong and I sold it in 2009

Comforting to know. We are now up to 103,000 and have no intention of changing. Mind you we have been in our house 32 years and one of my jerseys my wife knitted in 1983........I'm a thrifty Yorkshireman.

The last time I read about it was at 2million and then it was on the original engine and gearbox. Probably still is. the owner is anal about vehicle maintenance. I'm not and my 850 estate had 250000 on it when I sold it .Volvo owners club have a high mileage section and there are many over the 1 million mark

My 7.5T Iveco MH had 412000 Km on it when i sold it, my Trafic van has 197000 miles , our 52 plate Euramobil had 27000 on it which was absurd for a 14 year old van.
