Any recomendations for campsites around Whistable area - not too comercialised preferably

Depends how close you want to be to Whitstable??
7 miles away there,s Southview camping 01227 860280 V quiet
5 miles away there's Braggs lane caravan and camping site 01227 367261
Or just a couple of miles from the town centre there's sea-view holiday park
on 0845 815 9775 but that aint a quiet-one and you'll need to book.
If you don't mind wildcamping? pm me and i'll give you a couple of nice spots. :thumb:

Right by tesco's so shopping is no problem.

The Homing is a great site just walk down Church Lane and you have a bus stop to Whitstable and Canterbury at every hour at 1/4 to the hour.

Swalecliffe-- Seaview although a commercial site it is right on the Sea Front with a walk into Whitstable to the left or a walk into Hernebay on the right also great for Cycling.

Wildcamp on Tankerton slopes
You can stop anywhere along Tankerton Slopes sea front (Marine Parade), best spot is to the east end of Marine Parade, where you can park in a quiet no-through road (Marine Crescent). It can get full in the summer and be quiet for the residents . Public toilets open during day only, good cafe and local shops all within walking distance
