    Hi,

    General advice needed.

I have a Caro sat system fitted to my motorhome. In the UK I can receive Freesat channels via Astra 2.

I am assuming once I leave the UK that I will be outside the coverage footprint for this sat. Which European Sats. broadcast English language channels?

Practically all of them but trying to sort out the English speaking programs is a nightmare.

UK TV is on Astra 2 at 28 east.
BBC ITV C4 and Five reception will vary a lot, as will required dish size, as you travel around Europe
Most Sky pay channel should be available on a "reasonable" sized dish..

Astra 1 (19e), Astra 3 (23e) and Hotbird (13e)- are designed for European coverage, but they mainly carry European (and middle eastern) channels.
A few English channels are available : BBC World News, Sky News Int, CNN, Bloomberg.
There is also Eurosport Germany (in German!) available subscription free on Astra 1
