Evening all,

decided to get an awning for the van ... wet dogs etc,

it came with skinny metal pegs, probably no good except as skewers on the bbq.

anyone recommend proper usable pegs, last time I used tent pegs we had to make our own out of wood:cry:

i like bulldog pegs . i imagine you can still get them i,m still musing my dads from when i was a youn g boy. gotta get your moneys worth out of them hee hee.
also got a big bag of the wooden ones .ideal for guide ropes .

many many years! since I was a kid
screw pegs are great in most conditions, but they really dont like very coarse gravel or as we found in wales iron furnace slag used for hardstandings. Otherwise use chunky rock pegs, which will go into the majority of ground types with the aid of a lump hammer
