Wow

Welcome aboard,

Only 18months, positively decisive, took us years

Safeguard for us always, not cheap but good, can even get an online quote...

Enjoy your new lifestyle and we look forward to your posts and experiences

Safeguard for us too. Agree, not cheap but best cover. Fully imp, UK & European cover, UK & European recovery, unlimited windscreen cover (essential for RV as can be £5k+)

I use Safeguard too. This includes european breakdown/recovery via AA, there is no choice in this.
Premiums are reasonable considering unlimited mileage and time abroad and two named drivers. My renewal after 5 yrs was £343 this month. I no longer accrue no claims bonus as 4 yrs is the maximum they give (confirmed by query before renewing)

Aib they give discount to funsters:)
Personally I don't think discounts count for anything, it's what you end up paying that counts with like for like benefits.
Example
Which is better? 10% of £400 or £343 without a discount.

I have been with them for two years now and they have been the lowest quote each time and believe me I always do my homework and check out everything on offer:) pounds saved means more time away(y)

I have just gone with safeguard after being with many other insurers
And they were also the cheapest with the best cover, which I hope I will never need!
