C & CC. If you use the sites there is a good discount for the over 60's and also the ability to drop in on a site for a few hours to use facilities etc if wild camping: thee is of course a charge but have used it in Scotland a couple of years ago and found it very handy.

many many years! since I was a kid
C&CC have an excellent resource in the area run temporary holiday sites. not normally any facilities, but really cheap and in very good places
when our daughter travelled with us, we used ths's almost exclusively throughout the summers with spring and autumn spent doing weekend meets with the local district association. saved us literally thousands based on large campsite prices plus made many friends
