    You do NOT need to carry a breathalyzer kit to visit France... yet...

    This'll be a bugger for French lorry drivers, I've seen then drinking Creme de Menthe with their morning coffee!!

    Saves on toothpaste apparently:Eeek::Eeek:

    If it does become law I dare say they'll sell them on the ferries.

    You can buy online & I've been told they're a couple of euros each at any Halfords-type store in France.

    Get searching here, big thread on it a couple of weeks ago.

    Definitive answer by Frankie if I remember correctly. I think it involved her playing Mata Hari with a team of Police rugby players to get insider information.

    PS DON'T TELL JJ.

    For the total abstainers amongst us (Few I know) does that mean we have to by a breath testing kit so I can prove I have not been drinking.

    Not for me, you want to arrest me for suspicion of having a drink go ahead, I still believe innocent until proven guilty (Unless this has changed under EU law)
    One of the most difficult things to prove is a negative.

    I suspect you may need two.

    If you are stopped by the old Bill and use the kit, then you could be charged with not having a kit!

    The same thing in the old days, we (at work) had two 1st aid kits, one we used and the other was simply to comply with the law and was never used..
