Since our awning went to the skip I have been researching blow up awnings, which will be easy to put up and take down and more importantly have no metal poles.

I started looking at the Kampa, but the Air ones are expensive, the Sunncamp Air and the Trigano seem about the same quality, but should we go for the expensive - again - or choose a less expensive option and renew after 2/3 years?

Any advice on the Sunncamp and Trigano would be appreciated.

Hi David,

After all the research I have done, the question really is should we buy a 'caravan' awning (our awning rail is 253) and fit a drive away kit, or buy a motorhome awning and pay approx double the price?? The maximum height for a caravan awning is 250.

If we can get away with the caravan awning, I like the look of the Trigano Luna 280 Air, which is £70-80 more than the Sunncamp Ultima, but has canopy poles, fly screens and looks better. It is also 20 cm longer than the Kampa 260 Air. Obelink in the Netherlands also have an Air awning which is about the same price as the Sunncamp.

I really wanted to know if any Funster had experience of Sunncamp or Trigano and could comment on the quality of the awnings.
