Saturday the place to myself Wifes off to Torquay in the afternoon with here mates from work for a meal then onto a theatre to see The Calendar Girls:Sad:

Sunday might take a drive to Dartmoor, know a great place for swimming there.
Then back for the footie
Enjoy your weekends or longer.

we are working in birkenhead , liverpool from friday morning through until finished possibly saturday late , probably sunday evening , pays the bills and keeps tax man happy, still will be at loch ness hunting for the wee beasty in 2 weeks

We're enjoying our first Americana we've been sat outside the RV with cold drinks and a good book listening to music coming from all around us (T-Rex to our left, rock & roll to our right just wondering when the country & western music is going to start )

Up in the Welsh hills, and down in the Welsh valleys, we are certainly missing the heat wave. It has been and still is, damp, cool, and mist, but when that mist lifts, the views are wonderful.

On a field in North Devon, still. Contrary to local radio reports there is no heatwave here, it MAY be their best summer for 3 years, but not exactly Sunny Devon. No change there. Jane

It's too darn hot !

10am and already it's 28c in the shade ... indoors 26c , fortunately there is a cooling breeze off the North Sea...

We've had no real rain in the past four months, the grass is tinder dry, parched ... the farmers have been using sprinklers for weeks now.. and no sign of it letting up..


Only thing for it, go out in the car with the a/c on

There is one positive about it being so very nice AT HOME..... the grass will not be growing too much.

We were off in France, we only had one poor morning. Every other day it was brilliant. It was even scorching in Calais yesterday morning as we left.

We had a great time with no problems at all. We havent been before and I have a few questions to ask separatley from this thread.

Breathing a huge sigh of relief.... the motorhome sailed throught the MOT!! Yipee. :thumb:

3 weeks to jollies so now I can start packing a few bits in and give it a proper clean, inbetween trying to entertain 3 kids the pool lasted half an hour after I had put 6 buckets of red hot water in it. Will keep that one quite when hubby gets in!
