Hi guys,

I have recently bought a 5th wheel and it needs a bit of TLC.

The external plastic on the door has been cracked so I'd like to replace it (I'm handy at DIY)

It is a "bubble" type finish as std but my local plastics place can only supply sheets of flat plastic which I think would look awful so where would I buy some textured stuff from ?

Thanks

Mark

You could paint the flat plastic with a textured plastic paint. Most RV stores sell it.

I've never heard of that... I'll take a look.

In which case I could just repair and repaint the existing one.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions - now I have some terms to Google I'm in with a chance.

The stuff on there is like a bubble plastic so if an alloy version's available that seems best.

I'll go and search

Well with Google I can find small sheets at B&Q so any suggestions where I could buy it from - Preferably in the Midlands.

Thanks

Try metal supermarkets in West Brom, Kelvin Way.

If you google you'll get a yank site, seems to be the parent company, but you'll get contact details etc:thumb:

Good luck.

psst:secret:have you seen the rvoc.co.uk ? It's full of us nasty Yank owning types:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::thumb:

if you search for stucco aluminium sheet that may help.
or flight case manufacturers as they use it in large sheets and may sell you one or have offcuts that may be the size you want.
or horsebox converters.

hope this helps.
