Where is my leisure battery!? NEWBIE :-) (1 Viewer)

Hi. Newbie needs advice. Where is my leisure battery!?

I've just bought a 1991 Talbot Rhapsody, have looked under both front seats and all cupboards to no avail.

Did find some kind of electrical box in a cupboard under the fridge. On the cover it says 'Input 240v-output 12v' It has a white lead with a 240v plug on the end which is plugged into a 240v house socket and also has several other white leads running from it going into the shell of the van.

This box had an orange or yellow plastic switch on top (similar to the mains switch on the fridge) and a round black plastic knob next to it that seems to turn each way, can't read any numbers on it as it is too close to the roof of the cupboard.

Any help is much appreciated.

P.S. The zig unit in there is a MC2000

we had an old riminey and its hab battery was up front with the vehicle battery

So might be worth a nose under the bonnet

Hi..and thanks. Did have a quick nose under there last night, just had another look after reading this and hey presto!! There it is under the spare, covered in a black cover to keep the rain off.
