Konigsee.....blimey I thought it would be nice but the boat cruise was stunning. I even thought I spotted were Eva Braun used to hang out. The captain of the boat played a flugelhorn and the echo repeated back as the backing

While winding back towards the north was looking for cycle routes and stumbled across a campsite with a MH aire next door. ..the site & aire are called Sainte Claire in the Neufchatel-en-Bray region, the campsite is immaculate and so is the aire..looks brand new..with hedged pitches..240v 10a hook up on each pitch, toilet cassette emptying, fresh water, grey waste dump, laundrette, toilets, showers and big wide pitches an yes

i am talking about the aire. .. €12 per night, the only downside i could remark on is that it states no MH any longer 7m, ours is just over and another MH that came on earlier looks longer than ours and he got his on ok, so if your into cycling this is a nuce stop over

We are just up the road in Lacanau.
If you are in pauliac try and stay till sunday . On sunday its the medoc marathon ..i have ran it twice before and its a site to behold...26 miles and 30 chateaus to serve you wine as you run through them.
You can go on a wine tour as a non runner too

Moved on to Camplng La Cigale at Ares - really hot yesterday 37 outside (in the shade) 41 in the Mo Ho trop chaude!!

Yep. We're on harbour stellplatz looking at the power station as I type this!! Fascinating museum. Did the U boat yesterday. Weather has been superb.

I am at Allweglegen, no not been up on the jenner yet, but will do, although its predicted for thunderstorms tomorrow
So its wait and see also for the eagles nest, it was misty the first time I visited so I want to see the view this time
