A few months ago I broke down in France with a clutch failure and as far as I was concerned was dealt with very poorly in some instances by the Breakdown Assistance company acting on behalf of the Insurance Company. ( Caravan Guard)
I felt that the Assistance company due to their poor management of my breakdown should have assisted me by compensating me for some of my other expenses incurred. The Assistance company refused any such compensation. I then contacted Caravan Guard outlining my complaint. Within 4 days I received a letter back stating that the Assistance Company now admitted that my claim had not been handled to their usual standards and asked that I accept their apologies and a further cheque to assist me with my expenses. Although the amount was not what I wished for it does show the benefit of dealing with a company who on first speaking to them stated. We will be taking this up as this reflects on us Well done Caravan Guard.:thumb:
