Hi Paul
sorry not a definitive answer, just a word of caution ..

If you decide to purchase allys, ensure they are the best quality and rated for the vans load ..
Pjay (on Facts) had an ally wheel collapse, there was a long post with photos of the disintegrated rim, maybe a Google search would unearth it .. I'll have a search ...

There are an awfull lot of factors involved to answer that question for example you may get a definitive Yes from someone with an identical vehicel
Only to find that Fiat fitted say AP calipers to yours were as he had lockheed. so yes they fit but catch the bigger caliper so you need same size but deeper dish:Doh:

Hi Paul

Speak to Duncan at Tyresave, link from Jim's post above.
He has fitted alloys to both versions of Ducato lots of pics on web site.
Watch to ensure correct wheel load for axle.

Hi,

Finding suitable alloys can be very tricky, bad enough with cars let alone motorhomes.

Autotrail used to fit them to SE range in 2006; mines a 2006 mohican. I have tried to get locking wheel nuts for them, to no avail. Any one know a supplier please let me know. Autotrail say that the model comes with wheels as standard from Fiat. Goodness knows what the price including tyre would be; not much change out of 2K me thinks.

If it's cosmetic why not consider a nice set of trims, much cheaper and some can look as effective.

Thanks for all your replies and comments Brian :winky:

Having put a set of alloy wheels on my last van I am aware of the problems/issues in making sure they are correctly weighted 1250kg per wheel is the common for motorhomes. There are plenty of motorhomes sent out on alloys. The set I was looking at are actually from a motorhome as standard.
However with no gaurantee that they will fit with out a 200 mile trip to find them I will have to await another set.

Best get the big bore exhaust and dump valve fitted first.:winky:

Tiresome things alloys.

Clip a kerb and they look horrible. And you can't hammer one out in an emergency.

I know I know. sometimes Brian what I like about you and other funsters, is its like speaking to my Dad. Im young enough to want some alloys but you lot always put too much sense of reason on it. I think im going to get some stainless steel wheel trims instead the chrome ones. That way the pimp aspect is the same without the hassle of a wheel collapsing on me. :thumb:
