Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
You can use Brick Acid no problem but, specialist wheel acid has extra ingredients eg.corrosion inhibiters amongst other things.

Brick Acid is a favourite for car washes as its cheap yet cleans brake dust away really well. One big problem is it attacks all the unpainted metal parts eg.Brake Calipers, wheels studs etc.etc.If not rinsed properly will cause expense in the long run.Used to know a car valeter and he would never dream of taking his car to these quick car washes the reason they get such good results is that the chemicals they use basically strip a layer away every time there used!
