A selection of Italian cheeses. There is a blob of honey on the plate, which was a new one on me but we've tried it subsequently and honey does work with cheese. :)

Boursin on crackers with tomato on top. Can never seem to find the original with cracked peppercorns around the outside. Lovely stuff (y)

Along with a spare water pump and gas regulator, I find a block of halumi in the spares drawer has multiple uses, from replacing your worn out brake pads at the bottom of an alpine pass, to levelling the van up on even the most undulating of campsites (y)

Brilliant Toots! We did buy one of the sausages, at the time I called it a goat's pizzle, it was remarkably tasty despite appearances! Here it is below the cheeses. Those of a delicate digestion would be advised to eat it with antibiotics. :)

DONT FALL FOR THAT!! :Eeek::Eeek: It translates to 'Your FILTHY Cannonball cheese smells like your wife's (husbands) bottom, if you please'
You should simplly walk into your favorite French purvryor of curdled milk products and say.............

"Donnez-moi votre argent maintenant , ou je vais violer vos magasins chat" You will get instant and courteous attention. (y)
Oh Tootles...I never saw that post when it was still time to tell you how funny it was! 😂
You took VIOLER for VOLER.... Rape instead of Rob. Being a cheese rapist instead of a cheese robber :giggler::giggler::giggler::giggler:
I hope that you're laughing too where ever you are!!
EDIT Oops..actually I had seen it..I don't remember...old age I guess!

I love the English cheeses. For me a good Cheddar is absolutely the best, although I wouldn't say no to Red Leicester or Wensleydale.

Le Rustique Camembert. You can smell it through a closed fridge door but it tastes as good as it smells bad.

Soumaintrain is a farmhouse (fermier) French cheese made with raw cow’s milk in the Burgundy region of France. The soft, uncooked, and un-pressed paste has a distinct pungent yet sweet and creamy flavour resulting from numerous washings with a solution of brine and Marc de Bourgogne. The quantity of Marc de Bourgogne is increased during the maturation period until the cheese develops an excellent orange coloured, aromatic and sticky rind.

Usually eaten young, Soumaintrain exposes a mild, white paste with a close and fine texture when cut. As it ages six to eight weeks, the flavours become ripe, divulging sweet, salty and creamy milk notes. The cheese tastes excellent with Chablis, Rose, Petite Sirah and of course Marc de Bourgogne.
