upgrading my radio and speakers and took out the old Blaupunkt and this plug was in the back of it and there is not a space for it on the new Sony radio....

I have a sigma alarm, it's not to do with that is it?

    It's the blue one...

    Any ideas ?
    Thanks

Auxiliary input, most likely. For CD changer, MP3 player etc.

I'd have said CD changer too. But with only three wires, it's not enough? So now I am just as curious too

I've put the new one in without the plug and everything seems to be working ok.....
Haven't got steering controls and no cd changer, old and new have single cd, the only thing I think it might be for, is an electronic arial on top of windscreen ...... Will just have to wait and see....;)
