It might be really obvious to many people, but what is this socket for? It's alongside our 3 pin sockets in kitchen area in Bing, a Burstner Argos 747-2.
Any ideas??

Looks like it could be a 12 volt DIN socket
If it is they provide a much better connection than the cigarette lighter type.

almost certainly as above, plugs / leads available from most accessory shops or on line, its like a 3/4 sized cigarette lighter connection

I asked the same question a few weeks ago as we were stumped too! Its a Hella socket. You can get various connectors for it - I bought mine on Amazon.

Get one with a USB port so that you can download a massive amount of music onto a memory stick.

Why have a separate radio just fit a decent stereo in in the dash you will get a much better sound providing you have good speakers.
