Currently getting ready for our France trip. Trying to find the "Summer Fun" CD which we have taken with us for every motoring holiday for the last 25 years. The holiday wouldn't be the same without "Baba rara coocoo dada" blasting out the windows! What things put you in the holiday mood!

Sunglasses and a large supply of blind optimism. And a corkscrew.

I'll second the corkscrew. So used to buying wine in boxes and screw top bottles that we often forget. We have quite a collection of foreign corkscrews now!

As sure as night turns to day, when asked what is a "MUST" take item on a trip, near the top of the list will be a corkscrew.

I haven't needed a corkscrew on any of my trips.

Wine = Blood of the Devil which leads many sensible people into trouble!

What you really must have are Fray Bentos Pies. Perfect motorhome grub.

A few cans/bottles of real ale, so I can gradually ween myself off it and go onto the tasteless p**s that Johnny Foreigner calls "Beer"
