Right we are all dusting of the barbeques getting ready for summer, so let us share some BBQ recipes, I am sure we could get quite a selection here if we only tried.

I will start the ball rolling...

First take complete control of the Barbie.

Ingredients
6 Sausages
6 Frozen burgers
6 Beers.

Method
Take one Beer, Light BBQ
  1. Wait till coals are grey, this will take time, be patient, have 2nd Beer.
  2. Open 3rd beer. Place sausages on BBQ forget to prick them
  3. Immediately place Burgers on BBQ, Drink Beer, find another male to chat to.
  4. Douse the flames that appear from under the sausages with beer (not too much)
  5. Wait for sausages to cook whilst watching Burgers shrink to the size of a 10p pence piece. Open beer
  6. Ensure that Sausages are completely black and crispy on the outside and cold in the middle. Shout come and get it, and ignore the cremation jokes.
  7. Drink the last of the beer, as you insist that you do not wash up because you cooked the meal.
  8. Once cooled, find a child to clean BBQ
enjoy

Now you can see why I am asking for recipes! Come on tell us what you cook on yours, or have I just described it!!

Favourite meat on BBQ is minted lamb.

With lots of different salads, coleslaw, garlic bread, cheesy potatoes

Cheesy potatoes - slice potatoes, add sliced onion, pepper, salt (any seasoning of your choice) and toss in oil. Wrap in foil and BBQ or oven cook. Add lots of grated cheese over top for last 10 mins.

Home made coleslaw - cabbage, carrot, green pepper, sunflower seeds (toasted) and half mayo and half natural yogurt.
Also nice if you add any of following - apple, chopped walnuts, raisins, grapes, cheese.

Favourite sweet - Chocolate and fruit croissants.

Slice croissants and spread bottom half with jam
Grate chocolate on top of jam
Put chopped strawbs or raspberries on chocolate
Put lid on croissant and wrap each one separately in foil and put on BBQ
Serve with cream/ice cream etc.
