Setting off for France in a couple of weeks has got me thinking do I need a service or not?
I had an oil and filter change 10 months, about 2000 miles ago. When I had my tyres changed a few weeks ago they checked my brakes, pads and discs good.If I check my fluids and get a new air filter, what else would be covered in a service?
Cam belt done 2 yrs ago.

Regards Vlad.

Stop flapping Steve!

You have it all covered! Its a bloody commercial vehicle, not an F1 car!::bigsmile:

You might want to investigate when the brake fluid was last changed on an older van though. It absorbs moisture with age and can, if given enough stick on an Alpine descent, boil, causing steam bubbles to form in your calipers and give a spongy pedal.:whatthe:

Then again, every good driver knows, you should descend using engine braking!:thumb:

You may want to check your diesel filter...unless that was done recently. And of course you will be carrying spare fan belts etc won't you?
