Interested to see that there is no Pössl section in the European Motorhomes section. As the most desirable van in Germany and Switzerland that many aspire to but can't afford, possibly me included but let's ignore that,I'd have thought it would have made it's way into the thought process of UK MHers.

Is it really an unknown brand in blighty?

Possl, also marketed as Globecar .. several owners here .. maybe not enough to justify a separate forum ..

I think several members have also imported themselves..

I think they are a Dethleffs company ..

With most of the imported vans no one imports the full range anyway that's one of the reasons we go to the Dusseldofe show and talk to German & Belgium dealers, can't afford UK prices is the other reason.

    Hi
As others have said mostly Globecar over here
Same vans just different trim and model names for the most part.
We have a Revolution model and have been impressed with it so far though only got it at the end of last year.

Marketing is so weird. The cheaper Pössl here is the Roadcar which is also marketed as a seperate brand. You can get a Globecar but only as as a grey import. Prices in between Pössl and Roadcar.

We have had a couple of small issues with ours but although we bought second hand the van was still under warranty and dealer put them right.
If I had bought the van privately I would probably not have bothered sorting the faults as they were very minor.
If you search on you tube there are a couple of videos of them doing the conversions at the factory that are worth a look.
I cant remember if you need to search under Possl or Globecar?

So it looks likely we will be getting a 2011 Globecar Campscout 636 with the 3.0 l engine and with automatic transmission.

No Possl dealers in UK & only six (of which two are in Scotland) Globecar :( who only had a very small stand at the NEC Show last year so much less than the year before. If we change to a PVC then Globecar/Possl are top of our list for build quality & design. Would like to have a look at the Summit 640 http://www.globecar.de/portfolio-item/summit-640/ with its clever bathroom/shower cubicle but not even on UK website let alone stock here! Video of Possl version http://www.globecar.de/portfolio-item/summit-640/

    Today is MH day :D.

Only had time to collect it and put it to bed but tomorrow we'll play with it properly. For now it's enough to say I have a very happy wife.
