What make is best (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
New to solar panels, can anyone suggest which make of panel is best?
What's the main defferances between them ?

Panels are evolving so fast, and the price moving around so much it's impossible to recommend any particular one. You are not interested in 25 year life so cheaper ones may be more suitable.

I think monocrystaline are supposed to be best when light levels are low but I believe the difference between the two isn't great these days. This article suggests it is just a colour choice! Broken Link Removed

Bypass diodes are also good as they reduce the effect of part of the panel being shaded - which has a very disproportionately adverse effect on output, for example 5% of the panel shaded might reduce output by say 50%.
