Try a tube of no nails, or liquid nails (depends on manufacturer) Or a PVA adhesive.

How big is the moulding ? How much area is the glue covering ?

Is it raw wood or sealed ?

What is it sticking to ?

Is the surface sealed ( like shiny wall board ) or raw wood ?

Can you tape it in place 'till the glue sets ?

Small pieces and it's hard to beat quick set two part epoxy. Expensive for big pieces.
Good old contact adhesive ( Bostik ) is good if the area big, and it's flexible so takes knocks.
Really small pieces Super Glue. With care !

Copydex wood glue, dries clear and strong, I have mended chair legs with it.

are you working in motorhome ? some of the moldings are covered with a wood look paper
contact glue can sometimes bring off the paper.

    wood glue

There are new types of glues around these days and I use Gorilla Glue which is excellent for this type of thing.
