Hi, Autotrail 634 2007 with Fiat Ducato base.
I can't work out what the rocker switch does? It's the round one to the left of the air vent.

Thank you

If its got an alarm, my guess would be that the switch disables the interior sensor and siren
OR dims external flashing LED's

My MoHo has a growler alarm and I have a rocker switch like that to activate a bike rack "loop". A cable that plugs into a socket underneath of the van and then through a valuable piece of kit (bikes, generator, Bottle crate, etc).

Living the dream.
Be careful with that switch. It activates the passenger seat ejector rockets, now you wouldn't want to accidentally shoot the wife out now would you ............... :cautious: ............. Or would you?:LOL::LOL:

Thanks, It does have a toad alarm system, perhaps it does have something to do with that?
I don't however have any instructions for it!

Getting better month by month.
Switch it on. Arm the alarm, then move around inside if no alarm, then switch off, arm the alarm move around inside, if alarm sounds, found it!!
If no difference, switch it on and use MH as normal til something doesn't work, then switch off if it works, found it!!

We had the same on our 2012 Autotrail Tracker it was to disable the internal sensors as Robert Clark said but I seem to remember it had to be done in a sequence and sorry I can't remember what the sequence was.

Thanks, I have the 2 Toad fobs & have to press one of the buttons to disable the immobiliser before starting.
I don't know the sequence for other buttons on there or indeed even where the alarm is located!
It is definitely a Toad as fobs are thus & there are stickers, also has a PIR in lounge area, could do with some
instructions but will have to find model first :(

I've got one of those. Normally the reversing camera comes on in reverse gear, but can be overridden to stay on when shunting about.

That is an aftermarket accessory switch, nothing to do with the Fiat bit, so fitted by the converter or for an accessory. Could be anything, we have one which switches power to the media centre when the ignition is off. Trial and error, do you feel lucky? ;)

be careful how you wire an override switch for the reverse camera as i have seen one van where it also switched on the reversing light without reverse gear selected

It's just a bog standard rocker switch with a neon. It could do almost anything.

Do you know what, I am going to fit a random rocker switch somewhere in our van (that in truth does nothing) so that when we come to sell it, I can look out for the "what does this switch do" thread pertaining to my old van :D
