Greetings,

Question.....Oh! I forgotten what the number is.

Our 'van is fitted with a bolted down table which can be a right pain in the.....

What is the name for those right angled pieces of ironwork that are bolted to the side of a seat (usually side facing) and which hold a small table on top.

Seen them in the likes of Autotrails and Bessy's.

Don't know whether we will remove fixed down table but until we can source alternatives won't make a decision.

Taa in advance.

PS Sorry for the crap title but I don't know thats why I'm asking:thumb:

Thanks for that Terry. They're not there.

Anyone tell me what they are called. I might stand a chance.

Hi Again,

What a wonderful 'thing' the English language is.

I've now got at least three names for this item. (There will be more, depending on my mood)

They are called, Boom Arms, Swing Out Legs, or, and this is my favourite, Cranked Table Legs. As Peter (above) points out, they start at £70 minus table top. Because they are popular with the VW Surfer van fans I reckon there is an element of; This is the price, you WILL pay.

Regards and thanks to all..

And if you want one - I have a brand new one for sale (£50 plus postage) without table - bought and never fitted - PM me if you are interested.
