i think a coloured motorhome age's quicker than a white one. its a bit like cars with trendy colours go out of fashion and look their age.

I like 2 tone green as the old Comer Highwayman used to be,blends into the countryside a lot more.Unfortunately mines white.

Its worth looking at "vehicle wraps", either jut graphics to break up a van, to complete sides, or the whole lot....even zombies, Cheape rthan a respray, and can be removed at selling time.

I'd love to have one the same colour as my Smart car ... don't think it would blend into the countryside when we're wild camping though!

Any colour but white

We have only recently become a motorhome owner, but our first concern was, that we needed something not to big, and not white, we decided that we would get rid of the car and use the motorhome for multi-purpose. We have recently purchased an auto-sleeper in gold and love it. Still a bit conspicuous but does the job nicely, and the boss is happy:Smile:

As I've always said when there's anything on the box about S & M, and they show eg chains and handcuffs or anything worse affixed to walls or dangling from ceilings - I wonder how they knew where the studs/joists were to fix those to, cos they'd be no good with self tappers into plasterboard, would they?

We haven't tried it at home or elsewhere, is that a problem in a motorhome too? :ROFLMAO:

I'd like mine to be a sort of off-white with grey vertical streaks under the corners of all the windows, and green patches on the tops of any protruding horizontal surfaces. Around the wheel arches a tasteful spray effect in various shades of brown, and the wheel trims could be a sort of grey into black effect.

Hang on a minute, I've already got that...

5 years, feel free to ask me about the Carado!!
I would seriously like a nice camo job, it seems logical that if you are 'wilding' a camo job is the way forward.....sadly that would probably trash the s/h value of my van so its not on the cards.....but some nice camo netting might be......anybody ever thought of that ?? White is the last colour to use to make a large motorhome inconspicuous in a wild place! But some camo netting would damp things down a bit....

Burstner.........and other have tried gold and silver........all it does it dates them.

Currently have a 'gold' Burstner parked opposite me. But the gold is three different colours - cab is one shade, side panels another and skirts a third. Looks decidedly patchwork. :Eeek:

You know it's funny how, when a vehicle is new the paint job no matter how bad it is,people accept it. I have been painting cars for forty years, except for 15yrs driving a truck, and if I turned out a job like that it would be like world war three had started.
