Hi Gang,

Throughout our 'van (Hobby on a Fiat X244) they use a system to attach wood/panels at 90 Degs to another. If the piece is say, a long piece of seat support running from floor to ceiling they will use several such fittings.
The fixing comprises of a roughly triangular shaped piece of plastic about 3cms by about 2cms that is let into the wood and, at the base, near the joint, it allows a screw to be inserted through the fitting into the adjoining panel. The fitting is covered by a suitably coloured piece of plastic to meld with the surrounding wood.
We also have a similar system which, instead of being roughly triangular, is round (about 2cms across) again covered with plastic.
The reason I ask is that it is necessary to replace the door frame to the bathroom.
Before I take it off and approach a kitchen/bathroom Co. that will do the cutting and edging of the four pieces, I would like to know what these fixings are called because there are two on the kickboard at the bottom of the bathroom entrance.
As usual, thanks in advance.
Yes, I know, a photo speaks a thousand words but my camera is up the duff and I don't possess the expertise to use any other piece of techy stuff.

They are a specialist joiner fitting that requires the correct hole with a router used to create the recess.
They may be available from a DIY shed or joiners suppliers. There may be lots different sizes and if not identical I`m sure they will have something similar that could be used.
