So sorry not to see you at Wrenbury and what a pain gearboxes are when they don't work! I know nothing about them but remember driving from Liverpool to Widnes in the 70's wondering why I could only get 4th or 1st gear.
Saying bye to a child is hard for the parents. When we took one daughter to hall in Manchester I looked at this bleak room with filthy windows and rushed out to the corner shop opposite and bought window cleaner,spray and dusters and cleaned them and the room. Driving away was the hardest thing. Same with her twin. But daughters got on with exciting new eras!
He will love his new life and you can be proud of a fine son you have both raised. Lucille x
