Whale Aquasource Water Supply Hose (1 Viewer)

We have a Bailey motorhome which uses the Whale Aquasource water filling system with a flat supply hose. A couple of a series of weeks ago the flat hose developed a series of pinhole leaks along almost its entire length, out of warranty of course.
Has anyone else experienced this?
It would appear a replacement from Whale is of the order of £50.00, has anyone source a supply of the flat hose only so that the existing fittings could be utilised, because it would seem that these must be the major proportion of the cost. I could buy a Whale extension hose and swap the Aquasource end but these are still not cheap

Pin holes in flat hoses are caused by winding them in with dirt on them.. happens to them all.. eventually ..

only way to prevent it is to run it though a bucket of clean water and wipe as you wind in..

It was too much work.. so I don't have one now.. for years after I just used garden hose, but have now bought clear food grade braided hose..
