Great looking van! Now if everything is OK the best investment you could make IMHO would be screen cover if it does not come with one. No getting up to wet windows, and you will be noticeably warmer in the winter.

We got up to find the outside of ours covered in frost last Sunday. still nice and toasty inside and the windows were bone dry.

It is a good saving, but maxed out my budget, so fingers crossed it was the right thing to do. Its a lot of money, and the decision was quite a big one!
I had confidence in the sellers, which was a big plus point. Our first van turned out to be bought off some Itinerant's who lived in a brand new bungalow in Scotland and that was a right shed! lol
Its low mileage, well looked after with full Merc service history, so should be good.

Reading this and thinking how lovely .... New adventures/ lifestyle etc. suddenly twigged we have a 3.0l merc ....... So hints at gearbox problems might be relevant. Should I put this on my to worry about list???

I think there have been some problems with the sprintshift semi automatic, is that what you have?

To be honest though, there are issues with all vehicles to some extent, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Maybe someone can clarify issues they THEY have had?
