Weighbridge checking today

    As we were on the road today the police were pulling cars! off at the end of the M56/ junction with the A5117 and wighing them on the weighbrige as well as the lorries.
    I didn't know they pulled over cars- just thought it was vans and buses.

    just about any road vehicle can and does get pulled n weighed by vosa. here in cornwall its a regular thing. by the m,c donalds near fraddon they also use weighing mats and dip tanks for red or other fuel. camper vans and caravans are their target in summer. overloading is very common. if we go to the mot station on a monday the discusion is quite interesting as to how many they pull. they also do full roadside examinations and say they get quite a few failures. you never know when they will get you. cheers alan.
