Hi funsters,
I'm on the lookout for a cheap LCD weatherstation thingy and am looking for pointers.

All I really want is inside & outside temperature, and a clock. Anything else is simply a bonus.

I guess an el-cheapo battery operated stick-on type is handiest, but I can put in a screw or two for mounting if needed, and I guess wireless so I can stick the outside sensor somewhere handy without having to drill holes in my MH.

I was reading this site http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&tl=en&u=http://chapucillas.acmur.es/ and figured it was a good idea.

Any suggestions ?

Got a wireless one from Lidl and it was pi$$ useless.

Had a couple of cheap wired ones and they were O.K.

well, I need a clock anyway, so thought may as well have temperature, and then thought, may as well have outside temperature, then thought may as well have a weather station !

I got this one from ebay, but I got it second hand for £19, works very well. I have the outside wireless sensor bolted to the underside of the motorhome:
