We travelled from home along the A75, then down the M6 yesterday, gave severals waves and as we as we could see, most of the them waved back.
We stopped off at the Gretna Gateway Centre for lunch and there were five motorhomes all parked up.

However, we stopped at a vantage point between Sedbergh and Hawes and there was a Hymer with a left-hand drive coming out as we went in. I smiled and waved to them as they passed close to us........but he was miserable looking, didn't wave and couldn't even crack a smile:RollEyes:
Still........we can't all be happy friendly people can we? We will still wave to other mhomers:thumb:

We wave to motorhomes even when we're in the car, they never see us.

You don't see many caravanners waving tho'
I also ride a motorbike, and always nod to other bikers.

Even when we had the caravan we would never see any caravanners wave.
But the foreign motorhomers don't seem to wave..........

I either wave and get no response...so I then lose interest, forget to do it and SWMBO says, they waved!!!

Its all down to timing, which I don't have

Bill doesn't because he's driving, but I usually do, but probably nobody notices because of distance:Sad:

We have only been motorhoming for a year but so far we seem to have had more waves in France than here, we've even had waves from the older generation when we pass bus stops. I will keep on waving as if I get a wave back I am happy and if I don't I can have a moan so win win really!
