Hi all, wehave a avantgarde 200 and are trying to find out how much fresh water the tank holds,we know the hot water tank holds 10 ltres any comments greatly appreciated.Apologies if this appears a dumb question but we have a leak coming from the hose going under sink into tap and need to fill with water so we can trace this leak.
regards ,

Now a year - cant believe it!
If its owt like the 400, itll be around 70 litres. You shouldnt need a full tank to trace the leak though. Id check the base of the tap once you get some water in the system. Leaks often start at blown joints before bursting the actual pipes.

Just put 10/20 litres in.

I can almost guarantee the tap seal is gone, which will mean a new tap and connectors. You need to get on this fast as you don't want water getting near your wall/floor!

Some taps you ca get service kits, others don't. I know the one on one of our elddiss vans was not servicable. You need a tap with tails for these.

You will also want new push fit connectors, if servicable, unscrew the tails, and there is a little o ring in the join. Usually that one. DO make sure it is sealed before putting back together to see if frost has damaged the tap head.

You don't say how old your van is but from the avatar it looks to be about 5 years old, give or take. If that is correct the tank capacity should be 76 litres.

Thanks guys, so capacity around 70-75 litres , d'ont understand all this technical stuff about tails, connectors etc, suppose we were hoping leak might be something simple(like us} like a seal gone, but new taps&things wow got a headache going for a lie down now, suspect we will be back soon with more to ask.
regards to all. S&E
