    Hi everyone,

we have had our Hymer B544L for a few weeks and last weekend we thought we would fill the water tank to 90% it's capacity before taking it for a weigh in this week. According to the control panel we had only 75% capacity of water in but the water began to flood over the top of the tank:Eek!: (under the floor, not in the van) and we had to stop and soak up all the overspill. Is this usual?

    Regards,

    Debs

There should be an overflow pipe which prevents overfilling and that should drop the water to ground and will continue to syphon until the maximum water level is achieved.

There are rods in the tank that detect the water level and these might need looking at if the levels indicated are wrong.
