I posted on here a few weeks ago about a small leak from my Hymer roof. It's a few drops of water run down the windscreen on the near side when it's been standing for a while. @DBK kindly sent me half a tube of sikaflex which I used to seal around the Oyster dish mounting plate. Unfortunately that's not worked so I'm looking at what else could be the source. Next suspect is the full width exterior seal between the aluminium roof and moulded GRP front section.
Has anyone had this seal redone and was it a big job ?
I think before I do anything I will remove the internal one piece moulded plastic section and see if that gives a positive id to the source of the leak. Does anyone know what's behind this plastic, I assume insulation but what sort, blanket glass fibre or kingspan type expanded foam ?
Does anyone know from past experience ?
BTW it's a 2003 B 544
TIA
