water heater problem

    heading off in the morning and went to heat the water but not working on EHU checked all the fuses all ok, was away last weekend on gas and worked fine, still works on gas but not on electric.
    any ideas

    is there a thermal cut out on your model? look for a button near where the cable goes into the heater. or could be a fuse has blown in the switch

    or it could be the heating element has blown.

    when it happened to me it needed a new printed circuit board - not cheap!

    Our water heater has an small LED indicator when it is working in the Electric mode.

    See if your's has one and if it's working.

    Has similar happen to me on My Bessacarr, is was the heater switch on the NordicaElectrica unit, through dealer was going to be £135 fix, but got hold of switches myself and fixed for a tenner

    Thanks for the replays went to dealer at 8am and it was a slack wire in a relay 5 min fixed and now parked up for the night on route to London
