Having just read thread on dirty water in the toilet flushing system, that was fed from the vans clean water supply, it was mentioned the water filters should be cleaned.
Question 1 "Do all water tanks on mhs, regardless of age, have water filters?"
Question 2, "If so where would they be found."

As my manuals for an Autoslepper Ravenna has no mention of water filters.

Your helpful comments as always are much appreciated.

Most water pumps have a small filter attached which should be changed occasionally. Any other filters are usually aftermarket extras.

Hi Norman

I think your Ravenna has a small stainless steel strainer in a clear dome attached to your pump this is mainly to prevent fairly large particles like grit and sand from entering the system and causing possible damage and only requires occaisional checking and possibly rinsing under a tap.
The filters seem to be mainly fitted to caravans where the submersible pump plugs in and are usually of the activated carbon type used to improve water quality.

John.
