Water drip at rear (1 Viewer)

Hi all, just back from another test of the 718. Heavy rain over night resulted in a very annoying dripping noise at the rear of the van, just where my head is in bed! Got up at 5.30 as the water torture got too much and went to find the offending drip. It's coming from inside the offside rear corner panel. Can't see anything but it's definately dripping inside the corner cover. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks all

No it's a Chausson 718

We have a dripping noise when it rains.
It comes from where water dropping off the rear brake light trim falls onto the plastic of the rear 'bumper'.
We have got used to it!

You could park pointing downhill to avoid it!

BTW, I put a bead of sealant around the top of the corner trims years ago.
Not to stop any dripping, but to stop ice forming underneath and pushing the trim up when skiing.
It might stop the drip if that is where your noise is coming from.
Ours is a Welcome 35.

The biggest drip noise for us in the rain is where it comes off the front left of the MH roof, comes down the side panel and drips down the gap where the fuel filler door is. We put a small piece of on there when we've parked up. that stops the noise.

depending on how leval i am sometimes the rain gets in to the awning rail and drips onto the skirt trim that can be very anoying.

I suppose drips are inevitable, at least you can sort it if you can see it. it's the fact that it seems to be inside the corner cover that bothers me.

Just seen this post,
My best of 510 is the same ie straight through the (rear bumper) to inside and exiting underneath,
I'm thinking of some kind of sealant ( not made up my mind which sealer yet)
Image below I hope (gap is both sides and + 4 inches each side in from ends
Does that make sense ?
