That's double most people's payload in water, pity you don't have a black tank as you could have hit 1tonne.me thinks I am a lucky one 1x underslung 400litr fresh, 1 x 200ltr underseat fresh, 200ltr greaywaste and a spare cassette, originally fitted out for MX biking but never used for it
If I had done the build spec I would have left the underseat tank out I am going to have it removed, the big tank was termed a jet wash tank and has a proper jet wash tap fitting on the outside, you get whats there when you buy used allthough a good commentThat's double most people's payload in water, pity you don't have a black tank as you could have hit 1tonne.

We use the 20L collapsible water carrier or a couple of the 5L rigid ones to keep the fresh water tank topped up (along with the funnel) most of the time but as our tank is 100L if it gets pretty empty it's much easier to top up with a hose ... I've got a long one and a short one (haven't I @suavecarve ), it's also less tiring. As we have a PVC I can store the hoses quite easily but a large watering can would be more difficult. We had all that and more , this is all we have now
Did five weeks solid on Aires last year and never regretting getting rid of hoses fo one minute

Wheres the boss of this site ? Is it jim ? Somebody link him to this thread.
@Minxy Girl has been showing pornographic photographs of hosepipes and accessories (which i didnt find offensive btw) but now she is trying to become the EL James of hosepipes an writing in a provocative manner "tanked up" "Funnel" etc, she is even discussing length and PVC ! I genuinely have no idea what she is on about when she is talking about her large watering can !
When do i have to pay my subs to keep being a member ?

Do you not have fresh and waste-water tanks on board? Should last you for about five days after which I'm sure you can get to a water point and or grey waste drain. Water hose is obviously a must and a watering can to top up in an emergency. No point carrying loads of expensive and unnecessary gear. Have a good time.
Hear hear! With a fresh water tank & a grey water tank who needs an aquaroll & wastemaster they're just a waste of space.
We have a long and a short hose (short hose is ideal on Aires in France)
And we have a bucket, we also have a section of large bore hose to empty grey in case we can't get close enough to grey drain!
Aquaroll & wastemasters are for caravans!
Bought ours from B&M a while ago, blue or red, we use ours to collect grey water in.@Minxy Girl Mel where could i get one of them collapsible buckets that you linked the pics above

Hi Dave, the fresh water tank holds 127 litres and, showering every other day, washing out small items of clothing every other day and washing up once a day we can last five days if we have to.@Huwmari i was referring to my water tank, don't think we've ever managed to last 5 days

Over the decades that I have spent living full time in a van, I have had (and used) a wide range of devices for pouring water into my fresh water tanks.
Hoses of different lengths with different tap fittings, fold flat, wind up hoses in cassettes, squashed flat buckets, containers with pump systems to transfer the water, funnels, both bought and home made out of squeezy bottles and so on and so forth.
After all these years and years, I have finally settled on my current method which gets water into my van with no bother and under every situation I have ever come across.
I use a 13 litre watering can.
(I also use it to water plants.)
