Though I use my MH whenever possible, I put it into local storage during the week as I don't have parking for it at home.
After the first week in storage, I noticed marks on the rear - a number of arcs similar in size to what would be the effect of a windscreen wiper. Further examination showed that the paint has actually been abraded off in a number of areas.
The culprit? WEEDS! Growing in the hardstanding near the fence, up against the rear of the MH, and whipping around in the winds we had at the time. I now check behind before leaving and cut back any that are near - but the damage is done.
So - if you put your pride and joy into outside storage, have a quick look before you leave and cut back any growth that is likely to come into contact - they may be only weeds but the damage they can do is considerable
