We were camping in southern Spain the other week and our neighbour did the washing every day.

Is this normal - not seen a setup like this before. :thumb:

And the surprising thing was... we were staying a naturist campsite. :whatthe:

well over 5 years
first time I saw a washing machine and tumble dryer inside a motorhome was at the Kent Motorhome show last weekend in what I felt was a very dark and depressing large RV but then if you are full-timing what an asset and with what is charged for EHU on sites compared to doing the washing at home, they must save a fortune.

On and off for many years.
You need some payload to haul that along!

At home I do laundry every two or three days but when away it gets done as and when there are facilities. Luckily DH is happy to do his share.

Heck! Whatever happened to wearing the same t-shirt for a week, one pair of shorts and a pair of jeans for when there is a chill

Just started!
When I first saw the title of this thread I thought for a moment it was about a new 2 in 1 shampoo for gypsies, but then I remembered, that's called 'Go & Wash'!

I'll get my coat .....

Great technique, but how about you just hang them out on the line for a few hours, and go commando, you can put the same pair back on for another week at least.

I had a client with mental health problems that did that (except he transposed day three and day 4) - and the same with his sweaters. I can smell him just thinking about it :Eeek:

Mike

We keep a twin tub washing machine in the bath. Much lighter than a conventional one and runs easily off a little 300W inverter. Just a bit more work.
