Hi Guys
Just a friendly heads-up for anyone who fancies a wardens job next year (2008).
Unity Farm (www.hru.co.uk), nr Burnham-on-Sea Somerset, are looking for a Warden Couple - working from March to November.
You will get a free static caravan (and can park your van next to it) for the season.
Hours are (wait for it) 8am to 11pm, 6 days per week.
It sounds a lot, and yes it is very busy for 8 weeks in the summer, but after 6pm you are just "on-call" for any late arrivals.
You will plan the 200 pitches for new arrivals and ensure people have gone when they should. There is some "tidying" and replenishing in the new toilet/shower block - they have cleaners in twice a day, so you are just "tidying".
There is no gardening work etc either.
So, whilst the hours may appear long, the work is not hard labour and you get a golf cart to drive too.
The wage is £530 per couple per week !!
If anyone is interested, you should contact Unity Farm for an application form and return it to Sarah House ASAP.
