We were in the Italian Lakes last May (very end) and wanted to visit one or both of these but as we drove down the west side of Lake Como there seemed nowhere to park a scooter, let alone a MH. It was also raining heavily (and forecast was dire) so we headed on past. That ghastly book of Sostas showed several in that area but they didn't exist or were normal carparks that were full of cars, which didn't help. Has anyone visited the Villas? I think you can get boats but where do you park to get them? We have dogs, so we can't leave them for too long. Would like to give the area another go next year, perhaps a bit earlier in May.
