    Hi Folks,

In March next year we will be in Mayenne visiting (Shiftzz will like this) the Rapido factory with our club. Immediately after, in early April, we will be heading for Calais and then heading for Cheshire. Have any of you used a vet in the town of en route for Calais, please?

    Thank you.

    J

We've not used them but there is one less than 1 km from the factory.
On leaving the factory turn left and continue down hill to the roundabout, take the first exit then the second exit on the mini roundabout, you will approach another roundabout in about 500m.
The vets is at 11'Oclock between the third and fourth exit.
    Clinique veterinaire de l'Europe, 39 rue Jules Ferry tel. 0033 (0) 243009944.
    Hope this helps

    Have you ever used it?
    It's right under a flyover.
There was an article in one of the local papers complaining that a town that hosts one of the largest motorhome manufactures in France has one of the worst aires in France.
To be honest there is much better parking on the opposite side of the river.
Oh, also Pilote87, there is also another vets on that side of the road adjacent to the parking

Many thanks, Dad. I had done a Google search before asking, but posted on the off-chance that someone had used a vet in the area

That is a helpful suggestion, I had found this one on the Google list and it looks convenient. At this stage I don't know where we will be parked up for the week.

Thanks Terry. This one certainly looks likely to be quieter than the aire with the borne.

Thank you all for your help

    John

Sorry Scattycat, but I was called away in the midst of putting my post together. Terry was, I think, suggesting the parking area rather than the aire de service (see my last comment in my reply)

Hi again, I know the panoramic appears to be under the viaduct , but the parking is several 100 yds long from the access point , appears to be plenty of room.
