Just bought a meos 19in TV with Vesa 100 fixings.
I'am looking to fix to the outside of the wardrobe wall with a Vesa bracket.

Would be interested in any experience, can anyone recommend a good quality bracket, with wide fixing base to spread the load.

Do you need to fix a strap across the tv to secure it for transport?

The other side of the wardrobe wall is where the table slides against, any ideas on protecting the table from the fixing screws, bolts.

Any advice gratefully received.

Have a good look around, price etc varies dramatically.

We were in Broad Lane (Kings Coughton) recently and they had a nice one, not to pricey (£30 ish I think) very flexible, locking joints and the TV could be in unclipped for storage or transport. I've made a fixed one for Winne but I liked the look of it for future reference.

Mounting, obviously try for somewhere solid and if protruding through other side, various of the specialist car people sell nut covers, typically aimed at SVA/IVA but they may work or find something to pad the area if it's not normaly seen, dense foam or possibly polystiren?

 I used a standard wall TV mount for our 15' LCD TV mounted through the Wardrobe wall in our old Coachmen Classic bedroom. I screwed through the feet of the TV onto the mounting plate. I used bungees to hold in place. But forgot at times and it never moved. :thumb:
